The 1715 fleet was a Spanish convoy of twelve ships bound for Spain from
Havana laden with a wealth of New World gold and silver.
On Wednesday July 31, 1715, a devastating hurricane sank eleven of the
fleet's ships off the east coast of Florida, in an area south of Melbourne
to a point south of Fort Pierce. Millions of dollars in gold and silver cobs,
ingots, and other treasures along with hundreds of lives were lost..
The diver that owned the original cross gave me permission
to make a mold off the original cross. Notice the the skull and cross bones
below Jesus and on the back side below the Virgin Mary. This was the sign of
death.
The silver cross is 2 1/4 inches tall. There is also a shackle bail ready to hang
on your favorite chain.
Cost $18.00 + $5.15 s&h
The hook for the chain is on the back side of this super Pelican.
The Pendent is 1 inches tall. This pendent is much nicer then the photo
shows.
Cost $22.00 + $5.15 s&h
We made many of these for Mullet fishermen and the Mullet Fest in Goodland
Florida.
Mullets are not a good looking fish, but are very good to eat smoked.
You will see them jump out of the water and then land stiffle on there side.
Cost $22.00 + $5.15 s&h
Great design......We will be adding a lot of Ocean Type Jewelry.
